Micro Interaction

Privacy Policy

These disclosures describe the current beta. Review, scoring and deletion limitations below remain in effect.

What we collect and why

Your sign-in service processes email and credentials. Micro Interaction stores account identifiers, username, broad region, adult confirmation, policy acceptance, preferences, friends, invitations, blocks, challenge activity, scores and reports. These support authentication, invitations, challenges, results, safety review and abuse prevention. Your username, region and enabled leaderboard results may be visible to other players. The app does not request contacts or precise location.

Camera and microphone permissions enable live challenges and recordings. Notification permission allows result notifications and the service stores a device push token. Language, accessibility choices and limited diagnostics are stored on your phone. Diagnostics you choose to share contain app/build and system versions, times and error types.

Live video, recordings and exports

Both participants must consent before a recorded live challenge begins. Media passes through the video service to your partner and recording services. Recordings are private to authorized participants and reviewers. Safety and score review may delay access. Screening is limited and cannot guarantee detection of every harmful interaction. No biometric identity or face recognition is implemented.

Shared clip export requires separate permission from both participants and safety approval. Permission can be revoked for future exports. Copies already downloaded or shared elsewhere cannot be recalled. Effects modify an exported copy and preserve the original review recording.

Service providers and purchases

Authentication, hosting/storage, video and notification services process data needed for their functions. Authorized operators may access relevant recordings and reports for review. Purchases and advertising are currently disabled in this test build. If enabled, Apple handles payment and the app stores transaction and entitlement information rather than payment-card details. The configured advertising service uses its consent controls; advertising privacy choices appear in Settings when advertising is enabled. Enabled services require updated disclosures before release.

The current service uses Supabase for authentication, LiveKit for live media and recording, and Amazon Web Services for hosting, private media storage and automated visual screening. This public website is hosted by Cloudflare. Enabled notification delivery uses Expo and Apple notification services. Automated visual screening does not review audio or verify challenge performance.

Retention and account deletion

Current cleanup is set to 30 days for unsaved ordinary clips; saved clips remain until deletion. Safety evidence has a separate expiry, currently up to 90 days, and audit cleanup is set to 365 days. Cleanup depends on background jobs and service availability.

Delete account removes your profile and scores from normal access, ends active sessions, removes friends/invitations and hides recordings containing you from both participants. Media and connected-account deletion runs asynchronously with retries. Historical match/report records, anti-abuse account identifiers and purchase replay-prevention hashes are not yet automatically purged. Backup deletion schedules and storage lifecycle settings still require verification. Deletion does not immediately remove every retained record.

Your controls and final disclosures

Settings provides account data export, account deletion, notification controls and local diagnostic clearing. Clip controls manage saved recordings and sharing permission. You can leave, report or block another player. Declining camera or microphone access prevents live recorded challenges.

Micro Interaction is operated by David Lawrence Courtad. Contact microinteraction.support@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete your information. Requests will be verified using the minimum information needed to protect your account. Applicable regional rights and service-location disclosures remain under review before public launch. Published pages are in English; in-app language selection does not translate live speech.
